The Data Dash Competition

The Data Dash Competition is a growing statewide initiative that challenges students to "use data with purpose" by creating infographics that highlight health concerns in South Carolina. Using data and resources from the SC Tracking Dashboards, students select a health-related issue, analyze relevant data, and design infographics that raise awareness and offer prevention strategies. College and university students compete both within their institutions and against peers from other schools in this dynamic, health-focused competition.  Winning student infographics are awarded giftcards, their work proudly posted on the SC Tracking website, bragging rights, school recognition and fun SC Tracking promotional items.
