DPH provides family planning, immunizations, overdose safety kits, pregnancy testing, postpartum/newborn home visits, services for children and youth with special health care needs, sexually transmitted infections testing and treatment, Tuberculosis treatment, and WIC services. Vital Records
We issue certified copies of births, deaths, marriages, and divorces that occurred in South Carolina requested via mail, online, and over the phone. We have 16 regional Vital Records offices across the state that provide services for in-person requests. Online and phone orders go through authorized third-party vendors, VitalChek and GoCertificates, who are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Applications for mailed orders are available at dph.sc.gov/VRforms.
